If I were to recommend this hotel to a family, I would mention that the road facing rooms can be a bit noisy. However, I would suggest requesting a garden facing room to ensure a more peaceful experience.

The hotel is an aging GRAND HOTEL which accommodates many groups. Therefore, if young people spend the night there, there can be considerable noise until late at night.
